SEED Welcomes Corporate Sponsor Center for Assessment
The Seacoast Educational Endowment for Dover (SEED) a non-profit organization that promotes academic excellence by providing innovation grants to Dover educators, is pleased to announce The National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment, also known as the Center for Assessment, has pledged $10,000 to the organization. The funds will be used to grant awards for groundbreaking learning projects to be implemented across the Dover school district.
The Center for Assessment was established to foster improved student achievement through enhanced practices in educational assessment and accountability. Located in Dover, NH, the Center for Assessment has contracts with over 30 states to provide technical assistance regarding the design, evaluation, and implementation of statewide assessment and accountability programs. “We are very fortunate to have the Center on board to help generate a lifetime of educational excellence in Dover public schools as we work to advocate innovative education and ensure all Dover students are college and career ready,” said Stuart Kahl, Chair of SEED’s Board of Directors.
