Application Deadline October 1st

September 15 - SEED is now accepting applications for its fall funding period. Deadline for application submission is October 1, 2017.

SEED is searching for innovative projects in three core categories:  Academic Excellence, Innovation and Technology, and Professional Development. Project proposals can focus on practices or resources for any students, classrooms or age levels in any Dover public school.

Last year, SEED funded more than $30,000 in unique learning proposals and resource requests.  With this funding, educators are bringing virtual reality platforms, interactive games and software, and sophisticated technology equipment to the classrooms, especially in the area of science. Many educators participated in professional development opportunities for advanced-level special education training, creating responsive classrooms, implementing mindfulness activities, and integrating Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) curriculum.

Proposals will be reviewed by the grant making committee and will be awarded in December 2017. To learn more or download an application, please visit
