April 8, 2018 - SEED recently announced that its annual casino night fundraiser, All in for Education, will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Cochecho Country Club, in Dover, New Hampshire. All proceeds will fund future grants awarded to Dover teachers to help students learn the skills needed in the 21st Century.

Financed strictly by community giving, SEED awards grants twice annually for projects to be implemented across the Dover school district. By the close of the 2017-2018 school year, SEED will have funded more than $100,000 in innovative training, equipment, and curriculum for Dover public schools.

SEED was formed in 2011, in response to concerns from citizens and local businesses about Dover’s inability to back new learning initiatives to develop better career and college readiness for Dover students.  This past January, SEED was named the 2018 Small Nonprofit of the Year by the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce for its positive impact on the Dover community. “We are so proud to advocate for educational excellence in Dover,” said Angela Carter, SEED Board Chair. “All the money raised during Casino Night goes right back to improving academic outcomes for Dover students.”

SEED is now accepting applications for sponsorship of the All in for Education event. Packages range from $250 table sponsors to a $5,000 underwriting sponsorship. For more information, please visit www.DoverSEED.org or email info@DoverSEED.org
