October 28, 2018- Dover-based, Jewelry Creations partnered with SEED, a non-profit organization supporting academic excellence by delivering groundbreaking grants to Dover educators, to raise more than $600 during Dover’s annual Apple Harvest Day event. The one of a kind promotion is a shining example of how businesses can collaborate with non-profits to raise awareness and funding.
Jewelry Creations offered an Endless Jewelry Bracelet (retails for $60) for every $20 donation to SEED. The popular line was made famous with the backing of Jennifer Lopez. “It was truly a win-win,” said Kelly Glennon, owner of Jewelry Creations. “We are vested in Dover and this was an easy way to give back to our community.” Jewelry Creations first opened its doors in downtown Dover, NH, in 1981. Nearly 40 years later, Jewelry Creations remains dedicated to providing the seacoast with high quality jewelry at the best possible price.
SEED is currently underway with its Lighting the Way to Learning appeal, an intense effort by SEED's entirely volunteer-led organization to raise $150,000 toward creating a $500,000 endowment fund. The endowment fund will create a legacy for educational excellence in Dover public schools by allowing the nonprofit to underwrite grant awards in perpetuity. To learn more visit www.doverseed.org.
