DOVER, N.H., April 30, 2019- The Seacoast Educational Endowment for Dover (“SEED”), a non-profit organization that promotes academic excellence by providing innovation grants to Dover educators, is thrilled to announce D.F. Richard has renewed its sponsorship. The $2,500 donation will be used to promote the teaching and learning of 21st century skills to prepare Dover students for post-secondary education and career challenges.

As a 6-year sponsor, D.F. Richard is a family owned company serving seacoast communities since 1932 and is considered the area’s premier supplier of heating oil, propane gas and heating services. “We are so grateful to D.F. Richard for its continued support towards academic excellence in Dover education,” said Kelly Glennon, SEED Fundraising Committee Chair. “Business support is critical to our ability to fund grant requests from Dover educators.”

SEED recently held its benefit evening and auction “Encore for Education” in which it raised more than $31,000 for innovative curriculum, tools, and professional development offerings in Dover public schools. The organization’s 2019 spring grant cycle yielded dozens of grant applications with requests for more than $75,000 in curriculum, resources, and professional development requests.
